History
The Professional Pest Management Association of British Columbia (PPMABC) was founded in 1980 and incorporated under the BC Society Act on October 2, 1980. As a registered society, PPMABC is dedicated to promoting informed pest management practices for the protection of crops, livestock, public health, and the environment in British Columbia.
The association actively encourages scientific research and the dissemination of information on pest management practices. PPMABC brings together professionals, educators, academics, growers, and students in pest management and related fields.

Foster professionalism in the practice of pest management with the aim of safeguarding crops, livestock, public health, and the environment in British Columbia. - Encourage Scientific Research
Promote and support scientific research in the field of pest management, facilitating the dissemination of information regarding effective methods and best practices. - Contribute to Regulatory Legislation
Play an active role in contributing to proposed regulatory legislation related to any aspect of pest management.
