Beans Is How We Fix Our Future

Public sector menus are underutilizing the potential of shifting their proteins to incorporate more beans and be overall more plant-forward. Roots and Beans is How have partnered to engage with leaders in the B.C. food industry to facilitate discussion and develop an Action Plan to increase local, plant-based menu offerings. 

On March 21, 2024, Roots and Beans is How hosted a half-day roundtable discussion with food service leaders from across the globe to network and learn about the many benefits of beans and plant-based foods. This conversation catalyzed a discussion of the audience, partners, and action needed to inspire more #beansonthemenu in B.C..
