I was homeless from June of 2015 until December of 2016 then, due to some very kind people, received housing at Peter Coyle Place in Calgary. I then joined the Exchange, a research group led by Dr. Lara Nixon, where we drafted a template for new residents coming to the facility called "Welcome to Peter Coyle Place". It was a guide to let new people know who to talk to about their needs and to familiarize them with things like meal times, laundry, room cleaning, and basic etiquette and behaviour. We also have done a wallet sized definition of addiction, and aging in the right place work ,and work with the Imagine Citizens research group.
