Dorothy Kestle

Dorothy brings her experience to our CMHC-SSHRC funded initiative that seeks to identify promising practices for housing older adults experiencing homelessness. She has served as a patient partner on a community-based research project that identified the feasibility of a medical respite program for older adults who are experiencing homelessness in Metro Vancouver. Currently living in a transitional shelter, where she manages the community food program, Dorothy is a strong advocate for the need to provide health and social supports in shelters.
