Global Student Centre
A space for all things global, intercultural, and international at Simon Fraser University. The Global Student Centre (GSC) is the campus hub for creating intercultural connections and sharing your international student experience.
We open our doors during the week so you may use our GSC lounge to take a break, enjoy free snacks, meet fellow students, or have focused study time. Check our calendar to find out when the GSC lounge is open and available.
Also, the GSC hosts an array of events aimed at fostering connections among international students, cultivating an inclusive global community on campus, and celebrating intercultural diversity at SFU.
At Global Student Centre, international students can find accessible support services throughout your academic journey at SFU, from transitioning to university life in Canada to ongoing assistance during your studies.

We are on the main floor of the AQ, opposite from James Douglas Area.
