Steacie fellowship
Neil Branda, Canada Research Chair in materials science and director of molecular systems for SFU’s new research centre, 4D Labs, became the first SFU researcher to win the prestigious Steacie fellowship for his cutting-edge work in the field of nanotechnology. The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada awards the fellowship, worth up to $180,000 over two years, to a Canadian researcher who has earned an international reputation early in his or her career.
