Suckjoon Jun
NSERC winners
For the fifth year in a row, an SFU doctoral student’s thesis was selected as either a winner or runner-up for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council’s national doctoral prize. Four prize-winners and four runners-up are named each year; this year, Suckjoon Jun’s dissertation in physics was a runner-up in the natural sciences category. In previous years, SFU students have won prizes in engineering, physics and psychology, and been runner-up once in computing science.
