Bill Reid Centre
SFU partnered with the Bill Reid Foundation to begin developing the Bill Reid Centre for Northwest Coast Art Studies at SFU Vancouver. In October, an auction of works by noted First Nations artists helped raise funds for the proposed centre which will focus on the indigenous art of B.C. and provide a space where students and artists can meet with the public at workshops, studio sessions, lectures, seminars and a variety of social and cultural events.
