80% = welcome to SFU
SFU launched a novel and highly successful recruiting campaign to demystify the university admissions process and guarantee entrance, residence accommodation and priority course registration to secondary school students with grades averaging 80 per cent or higher. In addition, SFU became the first Canadian university to create special scholarships targeting alumni of Canada’s Shad Valley program, an internationally renowned science and leadership summer camp for high-performing students in Grades 11 and 12.
