Syngene GENi2 Gel Doc System

The Syngene GENi2 gel documentation system is taken care of by the MBB Manager, Laboratory Operations.

CAUTION: The gel documentation system, specifically its interior transilluminator, is contaminated with ethidium bromide. Always wear gloves when in contact with the transilluminator. Remove your gloves before turning the light switch to the room on/off, before touching the log book, and before touching the room door handle. Take all ethidium bromide contaminated waste with you when exiting the room and dispose of in your lab in an ethidium bromide contaminated waste receptacle.
