Join us for our movie series showcasing Argentinian film. Juan Moreira (1973, dir. Leonardo Favio) will be showing at SFU Harbour Centre in the 7000 Earl & Jennie Lohn Policy Room. Movies will be available with English subtitles.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Vancouver.

About the Film

In the late 19th century, mule-driver Juan Moreira is a good gaucho and worker who, like many others, is subjected to abuse and humiliation by those in power: landowners of the police.
