Total Saltwater Kayak/Canoe Deaths per County in Washington State

In an interesting turn of events, it would appear that most of the accidents have occurred in the Skagit and Snohomish counties. Jefferson and Gray's Harbour have both had accidents that could correspond to the more harsh environmental conditions. However, in the zones where most deaths occurred, then possibly boat traffic and collisions could be studied further to try and map out distributions of boat licences or look at density of boats per km.
