US Coast Guard VHF Catchment Area for Washington State

In this map of VHF communications extent, it is apparent that no part of the Clallum county coast is within VHF communications range of the Coast Guard stations. The same goes for the west coast of Jefferson County. Whatcom, Skagit Snohomish, King, Pierce, Kitsap, Gray's Harbour, and Pacific counties are all within VHF radio transmission range to the Coast Guard.
