This 2-hour workshop was for new or first-time grant holders. The session oriented researchers to common challenges and practices that help manage grant project in a timely and productive way to meet both project milestones and schedule, as well as manage the funding. It also focused on processes for hiring of research personnel, obtaining certifications, project management tools, and an overview of financial procedures commonly used by grant holders.
