BC Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC) is a coalition of international development and civil society organizations that has engaged in sustainable development and social justice issues for over a quarter century. BCCIC supports its members in becoming more effective agents of change in their global cooperation efforts by disseminating knowledge gained through collaborative projects, building relationships across different sectors and networks, and developing the capacity of international development practitioners.

Builders without Borders

- Builders Without Borders is a volunteer-based registered Canadian foundation that partners with local and international NGOs, corporate and private organizations and governments to improve living conditions of vulnerable populations both in Canada and internationally. With a humanitarian focus, Builders Without Borders (BWB) consists of an active group of professions volunteers in the planning, design, and construction industries.
- Builders Without Borders works both internationally and locally in Canada, and has participated in over 50 projects in over twelve countries. BWB volunteers support and train local people (Exchange of Knowledge) in skills required for the construction and maintenance of the project structures.

- Participating in an international short term volunteer project ( sometimes called Workcamp ) requires one to work and live together with other volunteers from around the world for three weeks. The work activities' duration is up to 6 hours a day, five days a week.
- There's no prerequisite of special skills or previous experience. The activities are respective of the participants' physical abilities. Technical leaders lead the working process and monitor the safety of volunteers. The team work is foreseen as a way for getting better understanding, building friendship and also as a good example of awareness of the problems.
- Volunteers organize their travel individually and cover the travel costs to the project place. The volunteers are provided with detailed travel instructions on how to reach the project place. The participation fee for a short-term project is $440 CAD (about $350 US).

- CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. We put women and girls in the centre because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.
- Councils for CARE Canada are diverse groups of passionate women who come together to raise awareness and support for CARE projects, while learning about the cause and sharing a sense of solidarity with the women and communities they are helping. By joining the council, you will have the opportunity to join, learn from, and work with like-minded women with diverse backgrounds who believe that supporting and empowering women in developing countries matters.
- Councils hold at least two meetings a year and you are encouraged to attend these as this is where the group will discuss objectives, pick a project to support, celebrate successes, and plan the activities the Council will undertake over the coming year.

- HOPE International Development Agency exists to improve the supply of basic human necessities for the neediest of the developing world through self-help activities, and to challenge, educate, and involve North Americans regarding development issues.
- There are opportunities for both volunteering overseas and volunteering at home.
- Overseas volunteers will spend three to four weeks with their team in a rural community in countries like Cambodia and the Dominican Republic. Volunteers are often involved with hands-on activities like clean water projects, school construction, and agriculture, working side-by-side with people making their way out of poverty.

- MOSAIC is a registered charity delivering services and engaging in community building and advocacy to facilitate meaningful participation of immigrants and refugees in Greater Vancouver.

- The Trans-Himalayan Aid Society (TRAS) is a registered Canadian charity that supports the health and education of children and youth in northern India, Nepal, and Tibet. TRAS raises funds for Himalayan partner organizations who implement health and education projects in their own communities.

SEO Specialists prepare monthly website analytics reports and SEO/PPC activity share findings, make recommendations for change and execute.
