The
Classical Association of the Canadian West (CACW)
brings together those from western Canada intested in ancient Greece and Rome
(as well as their friends and colleagues from elsewhere).
Its primary activity consists of its annual meetings, held in the late winter/spring.
The 2013 Classical Association
of the Canadian West conference,
"On the Margins of Antiquity,"
will be held at the University of Alberta, March 22-24, 2013.
This year we will be hosting
a special undergraduate panel,
as well as welcoming papers from graduate students and scholars of all nationalities.
The deadline for submissions of individual paper proposals is October
1st, 2012.
Panel session proposals
must be submitted by September 15th, 2012.
Please contact Kat Furtado (kfurtado@ualberta.ca) with any questions.
The Secretary-Treasurer
of the CACW ("kak double-you") is David Mirhady dmirhady@sfu.ca
of Classics @ SFU.
Please contact him if you wish to be added to the CACW mailing list.
