Earlier today, SFU Childcare Society welcomed The Minister of State for Child Care, Katrina Chen; Burnaby North MLA Janet Routledge; MP Terry Beech; and representatives from the broader ECE community for the announcement that the government will be investing $6.3 million into a variety of professional development programs for child care staff.

SFUCCS Senior Educator, Saaiqa Bhanji (UCC South), also had the opportunity to speak to those in attendance about her experiences as an educator, and our guests also had the opportunity to explore clay with some of our children from UCC.
