Dr Zuo-Guang Ye receives Distinguished Service Award
Dr Zuo-Guang Ye has been awarded the 2023 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control (UFFC) Society Distinguished Service Award.
He is presented this award "for outstanding and sustained service to the IEEE UFFC Society through strong leadership as chair of the Working Group for the first IEEE Standard for Relaxor-based Single Crystals for Transducer and Actuator Applications, chair of the UFFC Standards Committee, chair of symposia organization, and effective member of several committees."
Dr Ye accepted this award at the IEEE UFFC-Society Award Ceremony that took place in Montreal on Sept. 4, 2023, in conjunction with the 2023 International Ultrasonics Symposium.
This award is granted to those who display exceptional service through leadership, management, and advocacy in the areas of interest to the advancement of theory, technology, materials, and applications of UFFCs.
