- Avah Guymer is the recipient of the Richard Shutler Memorial Essay Prize for her ARCH 272 paper, "There's More Than One Way to Skin a Cat: Investigating the Archaeological Significance and Phylogeny of the Domestic Cat (Felis silvestris catus)".
- Sarah Grenier is the recipient of the Jack Nance Memorial Essay Prize for her ARCH 312 paper, "Gender and Roles of Women in Late Bronze Age Aegean Mainland Crete".
