2020 American Anthropological Association Willey Prize - Congratulations to Dana Lepofsky!
The Department of Archaeology would like to share the excellent news that Dana Leposky has been awarded the 2020 Willey Prize for her 2017 American Anthropologist article entitled “Historical Ecology of Cultural Keystone Places of the Northwest Coast.”
This prize is named after Gordon B. Willey and recognizes what the 2020 Board of the Archaeology Division of the American Anthropological Association believes was the best article in the three-year span of 2017-2019. This award speaks to the excellent work that Dana and her students and colleagues have been doing in BC. Congratulations Dana! Very much deserved.
