Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate the launch of the inaugural issue of the SFU Educational Review in March 2007. The event marked the formal celebration of a graduate student initiative begun five years ago with the Education With/Out Borders Symposium, an event that every year carries forward increasing momentum and spirit. This year, the spirit and momentum of Education With/Out Borders led to the launch of what we hope to be a long history for the SFU Ed Review as a celebration of what is possible with the crossing of boundaries in the field(s) of education and across the disciplines.
