Submission of papers related, but not limited, to the main topics listed below are invited. TOPICS: 1. Theoretical foundations of neural networks 2. Realization of neural networks 3. Applications of neural networks 4. Biomedical aspects of neural networks 5. Fuzzy systems *************************************************************************** SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: Prospective authors are invited to submit camera-ready papers describing original research and development work related to the topics listed above. Three (3) copies of the paper must be submitted for review. Papers should be printed on ISO A4 (210mm(297mm, or 8.5"(11") white paper in two-column format with 5mm (0.2") gutter between columns, with 2.0cm (0.8") margins in all four sides. Text to be typed in Times or similar font style, 10 points or larger. Four pages are encouraged; however, the paper must not exceed six pages, including figures, tables and references, and should be written in English. Centered at the top of the first page, starting 10mm below the top margin, the complete title and name(s), affiliation(s) and e-mail address(es) of the author(s) should be. The paper should contain a short one-paragraph abstract briefly describing the subject and contribution. References (in accordance with the IEEE style) should appear in a separate section at the end of the paper with items referred to by numerals in square brackets. Each selected paper will be published in the Proceedings of the NEUREL-99. Electronic submission is preferable in PostScript, RTF, or MS Word format. In the accompanying preregistration form the following information must be included: Full title of the paper including author's name(s), Technical area (topics 1-5 listed above), Corresponding author (name, postal/e-mail addresses, phone/fax), Preferred mode of presentation (oral or poster). *************************************************************************** IMPORTANT DATES: Proposals for tutorials and plenaries: March 15, 1999 Submission of camera-ready papers: April 15, 1999 Notification of acceptance: June 15, 1999 *************************************************************************** Papers (and correspondence) should be sent to the address below: NEUREL-99 Conference Secretariat: Faculty of Electrical Engineering Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 73, PO Box 35-54, 11120 Belgrade - YUGOSLAVIA (P) ++381-11-3248-464, (F) ++381-11-3248-681, (E) neurel@galeb.etf.bg.ac.yu ===========================================================================NEUREL-99 General Chair: Prof.dr Branimir Reljin, ereljin@ubbg.etf.bg.ac.yu Program Chair: Prof.dr Srdjan Stankovic, stankovic@buef31.etf.bg.ac.yu ===========================================================================
