I am an IEEE Fellow and a Past President of two IEEE Societies: Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (SMCS) and Circuits and Systems Society (CASS). Since 2007, I have served on many TAB Boards and Committees. Over the past 25 years, I have greatly contributed to the global IEEE community. I have held numerous leadership roles in SMCS, CASS, and several Sections and Chapters. I have served as Associate Editor of several journals and have received a number of IEEE awards in recognition of my many contributions to IEEE over the years. If elected, I will "serve with diligence and integrity and will tirelessly devote my expertise, energy, and time to contribute to the advancement of IEEE, Division X, and their members."
