ROBERT C. BROWN
Dr. Robert (Bob) Brown (Associate Professor of Geography and Associate Director, Institute for Fisheries Analysis) is a resources geographer specializing in fisheries economics and fisheries policy. Dr. Brown is former Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and was Acting President of Simon Fraser University in 1993. As part of his university research Dr. Brown is currently working on community co-management as a strategy for fisheries policy. He is the author of several research publications including two recent papers on the B.C. Herring fishery.
