In this episode, our host Am Johal sits down with Bob to discuss his public life and the political impacts that his decisions continue to have. 

They speak about Bob’s growing up on “The Drive,” what East Vancouver looked like post-World War II, and his education & running for Vancouver City Council.

About Our Guest

BOB WILLIAMS

Bob Williams is an author and a politician who was representing Vancouver East (1966-1976 and 1984-1991) as a BC NDP MLA.

Bob also served as an alderman for Vancouver City Council (1964-1966). After his political career, he was chair of ICBC and director of Vancity Credit Union, In 2022, Bob published his book, Using Power Well: Bob Williams and the Making of British Columbia.
