In this conversation, Am Johal talks to Paul Rogers, professor emeritus of peace studies from Bradford University (United Kingdom) about the impact that COVID-19 has on geopolitics and climate change, his readings on the responses of individual countries to COVID-19, and how we might find a way forward together.

Paul Rogers is professor emeritus in the department of peace studies at Bradford University in the UK. He is openDemocracy’s international security adviser, and has been writing a weekly column on global security since 2001; he also writes a monthly briefing for the Oxford Research Group.
