The Recreation Promotions Team supports the marketing and customer service experience initiatives directed by SFU REC. The team is made up of Leaders and Assistants who work collaboratively to promote SFU REC events through the use of social media, campus display boards, and other campus events. 

Assistants

Promotions Assistants are volunteer positions that assist with one or more of the following areas: Events/Outreach, Graphic Design, or Social Media. Responsibilities may include developing and maintaining campus promotional displays, attending and evaluating promotion-based events, providing customer service for activities, and providing assistance as required. 

This role is an entry-level position within the Promotions team. Advancement into a paid position (Promotions Leader) may be given to volunteers who demonstrate exceptional work ethic and performance.

Leaders

Promotions Leaders are experienced members of the Promotions Team who is responsible for performing duties related to the promotion and marketing of SFU REC. They are responsible for special projects, collecting and analyzing data, organizing and hosting events, and designing social media content. The Leaders work collaboratively with the Assistants to meet the goals of SFU REC.
