Pathways to Education

Pathways to Education is a program for youth in low-income communities that helps students graduate from high school and successfully transition into post-secondary education, training, or employment. Pathways addresses systemic barriers to education by providing leadership, expertise, and a community-based program proven to lower dropout rates.

Youth Engagement Facilitators include tutoring and mentoring high school students in at least one core subject. They adapt tutoring strategies responding to learner needs, collaborate with program staff, and participatein inclusive mentoring activities. They will demonstrate effective mentoring techniques such as active listening, coaching, advising, and providing feedback when working with youth.
