Media Minds
Media Minds is an after-school program for youth in grades 6-9 that promotes the growth of self-esteem, positive social connections, skill building and creativity through film education. Team-based workshops were hosted by SFU students which boosted their interpersonal skills while helping youth integrate into and engage in their community.
Volunteer Workshop Facilitators created new activities or altered existing activities to meet the needs and interests of the participating youth. In this role, you will be able to develop your communication and public speaking abilities, all while working in an inclusive and fun team environment with like-minded individuals.
