Hot off the press! A new book in AGE-WELL's AgeTech book series on Supportive Smart Homes: Their Role in Aging in Place has been published, in partnership with Springer Nature

AGE-WELL’s book series is comprised of short, accessible, state-of-the-art books featuring transformative technologies for health, wellness, and independent living. Books are commissioned to address AGE-WELL's 8 Challenge Areas, along with additional topics like ethics, augmented reality solutions, and technology in palliative care.

Explore how smart home technology paired with supportive care systems can improve the quality of life for older adults in home environments!

This book was a joint collaboration between AGE-WELL, SFU STAR Institute, Bruyère Research Institute, Bruyère Continuing Care, Carleton University, and University of Ottawa. AGE-WELL and SFU STAR Institute support book series development.
