PERIOD
The time required for one complete CYCLE of a WAVE to pass a given point, or to repeat itself.
The reciprocal of the period T is the FREQUENCY f; that is, T = 1 / f.
For example, if f = 440 Hz, then T = 1/440 sec. = 2.27 ms.
