ACOUSTIC or ACOUSTICAL
1) Concerned with the physical characteristics and behaviour of SOUND (see ACOUSTICS), rather than its perception (see PSYCHOACOUSTICS).
2) Concerned with the manipulation and control of sound in a physical, non-electronic way, such as an acoustic guitar, which physically amplifies, or an acoustic tile, which physically attenuates, sound.
3) Pertaining to the sense of hearing, such as in ACOUSTIC TRAUMA.
