SOUND-ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION

 Incorrect

A delayed sound, as with an echo, must occur at least 50 ms after the event without being masked by the original sound. However, this lower limit only applies in a lab setting with short clicks heard on headphones.
Acoustic echoes can be heard above about 100 ms if the original sound is short enough and the delayed sound is strong enough. With a 200 ms delay, the "echo" will likely become a rhythmic addition as much as a spatial one.
