SOUND-ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION
Answer |
When you tap your
index fingers together, the impulses will arrive
simultaneously at the brain. However, when you tap your
lips, which are closer to the brain, it is the lips that
seem to be the site of the stimulation. When you tap your ankle, much farther away, you are more likely to identify the finger as the site of the stimulation, since impulses from the ankle arrive later. Was that your experience? |
