Recent S/A grad Alexander Betsos is presenting two papers at the Canadian Sociological Association Congress 2017 of the Humanities and Social Sciences on May 29, with his advisor Suzanna Crage. They are developed from Alex’s December 2016 honours thesis for his Sociology and Anthropology Bachelor with Honours (Researching on the Self: Online Discourses from People who use Research Chemicals). The two presentations are “Current Controversies in Drug Policy: The Silent Regulation of Research Chemicals” and “Users as Drugs Researchers: Drugs and Knowledge on an Online Forum.”
