Free Sample Gallery — Style Guide

Description

Free Sample is a small commercial gallery in Vancouver, exhibiting and selling works from emerging local artists. Our site should mimic the minimal and unobtrusive qualities of the gallery itself, allowing the artists’ work to be the visual focus. We use League Spartan as our typeface — a thin, geometric font that conveys the calm architecture of the gallery space.

Colours

The colour palette is subdued and earth-toned, with generous white space, designed to imbue visitors with a serene and grounded browsing experience.
