I’m a front-developer who wants to create applications that help people. I’m currently coding to my future at Simon Fraser University in the Software Systems program. I have an interest in design and programming, which allows me to create programs that are human-centred. I’ve worked with SFU ROSIE labs to develop nowwithfeeling, a citizen science site to help collect research on making robots more empathetic. I’ve also worked at Wealthsimple to implement finance flows with a focus on making it simple as possible for the consumer.

I have experience working with web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and ReactJS. Other languages I know include Java and Ruby. I have experience writing UI tests with Selenium, React Testing Library and Jest. I’ve also worked with Figma and Axure to create wireframes to present to stakeholders.

This was a capstone project I worked on with 3 people to develop a citizen science website for the Robots with Social Intelligence and Empathy Lab. We used React, AWS S3, AWS Lambda and GitHub during the project. I was responsible for the project management and front-end development.
