The Eco-Action Accelerator is a 6-month part-time microgrant program that provides Canada Service Corps (CSC) alumni with the tools to scale up a service project idea and produce expansion plans that focus on the long-term sustainability of the project. The program consists of 3-interconnected components that support the development and delivery of grantee service projects: a 3-day in-person retreat, 6 entrepreneurial workshops, and regular mentorship with a program coach and network of peers.o
The aim of these microgrants is to cover all types of costs - personal, material, administrative, etc. associated with staging a mutual aid project or grassroots action.
Make up to a 5 minute video or write a short story of 500 words with or without photos, and tell us how you are taking meaningful steps toward improving the outlook for our planet with respect to climate change.
Building the STEM workforce of tomorrow We support organizations with programs that focus on youth education in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and trades training. Our goal is to help foster a more highly qualified workforce for B.C.’s future. Projects or programs with a particular focus on Indigenous communities are at the top of our list.
