Presidential search update

Professor Andrew Petter’s second term as president ends on August 31, 2020 and SFU is currently seeking its next president.

Between March 15-April 14, the Presidential Search Committee engaged in a robust consultation to gather input to help shape the candidate profile, which will be available to potential applicants.

During the consultation, approximately 1,100 community members shared their thoughts at in-person events, through email, and in the online survey. A number of stakeholders and partners also provided input.
