Heat wave kicks off summer in B.C. - SFU experts available
The first major heat wave of the summer is expected to hit British Columbia this weekend, with Environment Canada forecasting temperatures to exceed 30 degrees Celsius in parts of the province.
Experts from Simon Fraser University are available to discuss various impacts of the heat wave, including correlations to extreme weather and climate change, impacts on the water cycle, government planning and response to extreme heat, health and more.
