The Government of British Columbia has signed a memorandum of understanding with Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs, charting a path towards further negotiations. This follows protests that occurred across the country in solidarity with hereditary chiefs who opposed the planned Coastal GasLink pipeline project.

Doug McArthur is available to speak about the topic. McArthur’s expertise includes government management, forest and resources policy, First Nations policy and self g overnment, and negotiations and strategic planning. McArthur has also served as Deputy Minister of Aboriginal Affairs in B.C. and Chief Land Claims Negotiator in the Yukon.
