Set Up Signatures
Outlook for PC
This page provides information on how to set up your email signature in the Outlook 2016 for PC desktop application.
1. From your Inbox, click New Email in the ribbon. This will take you to the Message Composition Screen.
3. Click the Signature button in the Message Ribbon at the top.
4. A drop-down menu will appear displaying any signatures that have already been created in this desktop application. To create a new one, click Signatures... at the bottom.
5. This will open the Signatures and Stationary dialogue box. To add a new Signature, click the New button.
6. A box will appear asking you to name this signature. Type a name for your signature into the box, then click OK.
7. The new signature will then be added to your signature list, and you can type the body of the signature into the text box near the bottom of the window. Here you can also copy and paste a signature from the Outlook Web App that you have already created, if you wish.
8. Beside the list of signatures, you can select which signature is used for new messages, as well as which signature is used for replies/forwards.
9. Here you can also delete, create new, or rename signatures. Click OK at the bottom once signature creation is complete.
