SAS Companion for the OS/390 Environment

Accessing SAS Files In Other Operating Environments

SAS supports read-only cross-environment data access (CEDA) for certain types of SAS files created in the format of SAS Version 7 or later. CEDA allows you to read files in other operating environments as if those files were stored under OS/390.
