SAS/ACCESS Interface to IMS-DL/I Software

Introduction

This appendix lists the data in the sample IMS-DL/I databases ACCTDBD and EMPLINF2, and the DB2 table BANKCHRG used in the examples in this book. It also includes the data in the descriptor files and SAS data files used in the examples in Using IMS-DL/I Data in SAS Programs and Browsing and Updating IMS-DL/I Data. See Defining SAS/ACCESS Descriptor Files for complete information on the WIRETRN database.

Sample JCL for allocating the IMS databases, creating DBDs, creating PSBs, and creating needed flat files is provided in the SAS Sample Library files. If you want to run these examples, see About the Example Data in This Book or contact your SAS Software Representative for information about how to access the files in the SAS Sample Library provided with this release.
