Doing More with SAS/ASSIST Software |
The previous section describes how to
run your query and to make minor editing changes to the output. After you
have run your query, you have several options for saving your work.
- You can create a new SAS, DB2, or other database
management system table from your output; see Creating New Tables
for details
- You can save the SQL query to a catalog entry
of type SQL.
- You can save the output to a catalog entry or
external file, as described in the previous section.
- save non-Select SQL statements to a catalog entry.
From the SQL Editor window, select Save from the File
menu.
Your saved SQL queries (type SQL) can be used to make
reports with the Report Engine. See Doing More with the Report Engine.
