SAS/AF Software: Class Dictionary

Overview

The format class sets the character format or informat for an application. You can also reset, delete, or terminate a format or informat. Using the subclasses CharFormat and NumFormat, you can easily set character or numeric formats. The format is supplied by SAS or created using the FORMAT procedure.
