about Rebekah Parker
Rebekah supports the development, delivery, and evaluation of in-person and online events for Renewable Cities’ many projects. Her almost decade of working in post-secondary institutions, with various departments and research groups, honed her organization and communication skills and her knack for planning, whether designing programs and events for 20 or 300 people.
More recently, Rebekah was a facilitator at a forest school and previously co-designed programs for youth on STEM education and leadership skills. She holds a Master’s in Ecojustice and Sustainability Education from UBC, a Certificate in Digital Media Skills from OCAD, and professional development training from Partners for Youth Empowerment, the Instructional Skills Workshop, and outdoor education organizations. Outside of work, she enjoys long-distance cycling, spending time in the forest, and learning new hand-crafting skills.
