Amal Abdullah is the Project Coordinator for Renewable Cities at SFU’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue.
about Amal Abdullah
Amal supports the development and delivery of two emerging project areas at Renewable Cities: Value-Added Housing Hubs; and Land Use, Mobility and Vehicle Kilometres Travelled (VKT). She also supports strategic program and engagement activities such as dialogue events and workshops for a range of stakeholders, including policymakers, elected officials, service providers and residents.
Before joining Renewable Cities, Amal completed the Master of Environmental Studies – Planning Program from the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University, where she focused on researching urban food systems planning. Prior to that, she completed her BA at Simon Fraser University, where she also earned a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a certificate in Sustainable Community Development.
