Condolence Message from President Petter
As most members of the University community are aware, there was a serious car accident on University Drive West last Tuesday evening in which one person was killed and 3 other occupants of the vehicle involved suffered injuries.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the RCMP, we understand that all four individuals are Philosophy students at SFU. My sympathies go out to the family, friends and colleagues of the young woman who died, including her friends who were injured in the accident.
I understand that support is being made available through SFU Health and Counselling for individuals or groups that would like some assistance dealing with this tragedy.
