Sample Capacitors
Equipment: A variety of capacitors.
What it does: Demonstrates the wide range of capacitor types and sizes.
Concepts Demonstrated: Capacitor types and sizes.
Classroom assembly:
- Show the capacitors one by one and discuss the physical properties of each.
Cautions: None.
Setup Time: Short.
Difficulty: Straightforward.
Visibility: Medium. The capacitors can be passed around a small to medium sized classroom. The small capacitors will not be visible at the back of a large lecture hall.
